Therefore, there may be unexpected payment from a few hundreds to thousands of dollars after visiting Korea. However, when you use KTConnect’s SIM card serves you at up to 6 times lower rate than the roaming.

A. If you remove existing SIM Card from your US cell phone, all incoming calls to your existing US number is redirected to your voice mail. When you put our Korean SIM card into your phone, you will get a new Korean cell phone number starting by 010-xxxx-xxxx. This number is your cell phone number in Korea provided by SK Telecom or Korea Telecom, which is the biggest wireless carrier in Korea. If you would like to receive any call to your US phone number, you need to subscribe to our “Call Forwarding” service.

A. We do not rent a SIM card, you do not need to keep it and throw it away when you finish using our SIM cards

A. If you are a subscriber with T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint, your phone with them might be locked for you not to go for another carrier. Therefore, you need to “UNLOCK” your phone to use it with our SIM card. You could request unlocking to your carrier and follow their instruction to unlock your phone. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service center so that we probably could help you in unlocking your phone. However, Verizon does not lock the phone, so if you are a Verizon subscriber, you do not need to unlock your phone if you pass 60 days from the starting date of your phone, and could use your own phone in Korea.

A. By the law of South Korea, you need to provide us the copy of your passport, we need to send this copy to a Korean Authority to identify yourself coming into South Korea to use Korean telecommunication services.

A. You can charge your smart phone through USB terminal. If you want to charge your smart phone through electric wall outlet, you need to buy an adapter which changes 100V plug into 220V plug(2 circular holes). You can easily buy this 220V plug in Korea. You had better buy to use other devices such as laptop, etc. And we will give you a adaptor as a present for you when you buy SIM card from us.

A. As long as your devices are connected into internet, you could keep using your Kakao from your current device and our SIM card plan provide you “unlimited data” so you can use Kakao any time in Korea.
